Summary:
HR Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resource Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist public with application process, background forms, etc.
- Maintain all personnel files of employees.
- File weekly all correspondence for employee files.
- Create and implement electronic/digital filing system.
- Assist HR in screening applicants for job placement.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and public regarding HR related inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Retrieval of personnel documents as needed for employees.
- Check mail daily and process all correspondence as needed.
- Respond to all job service inquires and submit job service documents as needed.
- Process verification of employment as needed.
- Submit bills for processing.
- All other job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications Required
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource with experience working in office settings.
- Must be able to create digital files and HR database utilizing computer systems and other equipment.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with employees and candidates.
- Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite is important for efficient record keeping and reporting.
- Must have a valid ND Driver’s License and vehicle insurance.
- Must pass drug/alcohol test.
- Must sign confidentiality disclosure.
On-site coverage for the Human Resource Department is vital part of this position.
Must sign a non-disclosure form.
