Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will abide by all travel regulations and speed limits as provided by law.
- Will maintain adequate a filing system for Transportation/Outreach of contracts with clients, for activities participation in and statistical data adequate to prepare reports necessary for the Nutrition Supportive Services Program.
- Will attend training sessions with other staff members to enhance services provided to clients.
- Will assist outreach worker with assistance and also assist with daily home delivered meals.
- Will work closely with other agencies on referral basis to ensure clients have access to all services available.
- Prepares and cooks family-style meals for residents and clients.
- Will work in assistance with other cooks, which will require adequate knowledge in working with others.
- Will be responsible for cleaning and deodorizing of the kitchen, refrigerator, stove, cupboards, coolers, windows, storage room, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Director and in compliance with scope of work.
Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma/GED.
- Must have valid Driver’s License and valid vehicle insurance.
- Must be considerate of elderly persons.
- Must have knowledge of preparing and serving adequate meals for participates.
- Must be able to take proper guidance from supervisor.
