Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Bills for Substance Use Disorder Services provided to the client reviews for accuracy billing and coding information
  • Ensures all applicable forms are submitted in a timely manner and
  • Adequately reflect the services rendered
  • Follow-up on all pending and denied claims to resolve Follow HIPAA compliance rules for client privacy
  • Must have knowledge of North Dakota Medicaid programs/Substance use programs
  • Must have experience working with the North Dakota Health Enterprise MMIS payment system
  • Knowledge of eligibility resources and Medicaid application process
  • Knowledge of Substance use Disorder Services billing codes (preferred)
  • Possess good organization and communication skills
  • Be able to work independently with excellent time-management skills
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  •  2-year associate’s degree in administrative assistant field
  • Experience working in billing.
